SHORT DESCRIPTION |
Patience is a Virtue! |
OBJECTIVE |
Organize a shuffled deck in ascending order from Key to Dragon |
CARD VALUES |
LOWEST –> Key, Void, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, X, Dragon <– HIGHEST |
HOW TO DEAL |
Deal 7 piles in a row with each pile increasing by one card with the final pile having 7 cards. The area is known as the Tableau. Turn over the top card of each pile. The remaining cards become the stockpile. |
HOW TO PLAY |
Within in the Tableau, faced up cards are moved from pile to pile in descending order (Dragon to Key). The player may transfer the top card or stack of face up cards to any of the piles in an attempt to create a sequence of descending values and alternating forces (background color of card). An empty spot in the Tableau may be filled by a Dragon. If a player cannot move any cards within the Tableau, then 3 cards are selected from the top of the Stock Pile to form the Talon. If the first card in the Talin cannot be played, then 3 more cards are selected from the Stock Pile. If the stock runs out, the talon is reshuffled to form a new Stock and the process continues. While the player is sequencing the Tableau, the player is also trying to build up Foundation stacks. Foundations can only be started with a Key card and then may be built up to Dragons by stacking cards of the same suit in ascending order. Player may move cards from the talon or Tableau to the Foundations. |
HOW TO SCORE |
When all cards have been transferred in ascending order from Key to Dragon then the game is won. If no more moves can be made and the foundation is incomplete, the game is lost. |
